Vice President, Missiles and Fire Control International Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control

John Clark is the Vice President of Capture Excellence & International Business Development (CE&IBD) for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), and leads MFC’s International Business Development, Industrial Development and Capture Excellence Organizations.

In this role, Mr. Clark is responsible for developing and executing MFC’s strategies for the capture of international business opportunities. Mr. Clark’s primary focus is understanding customer priorities, strengthening foreign partnerships, cultivating Industrial Development opportunities, and performing with excellence to grow MFC’s international footprint. Mr. Clark is the primary interface between MFC and Lockheed Martin’s Global Business Development (GBD) team and serves as the bridge between the two organizations to maximize the inherent benefits of each entity, and to ensure that MFC maintains a OneLM approach. Mr. Clark was the Vice President of International Business Development for MFC, from 2018 until 2020, when his role was expanded to include Industrial Development and Capture Excellence.

Prior to 2018, Mr. Clark served as the Director of Business Development for MFC’s Tactical & Strike Missiles (TSM) Line of Business, where he was responsible for all international sales of JASSM, LRASM, HELLFIRE & Javelin from 2013 to 2016. From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Clark was a Sr. Manager for International Business Development for the Sniper program at MFC, where he was responsible for International Sales of Sniper.

Before joining Lockheed Martin in 2011, Mr. Clark served 28 years with the United States Air Force. During his military career he served as an operational F-15E instructor weapon systems officer. He commanded Training Squadron 10 at Pensacola NAS and the 53rd Electronic Warfare Group at Eglin AFB. Mr. Clark held several senior staff positions to include Director, Commander’s Action Group, at United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and the Assistant Chief of Staff at Air Combat Command. He also served as the Deputy J3 for Operations for the United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/United States Forces Korea. Mr. Clark has more than 2,400 flying hours, including combat experience in the F-15E.

Mr. Clark is a graduate of Stetson University with a BA degree in Business and English. He has a MS degree in Human Resource Management and Development from Chapman University, and a MS degree in Airpower Art and Science from Air University. Mr. Clark served as a Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellow with Lockheed Martin in 2004-2005, and he was a Executive Fellow at Harvard University in 2006. He is married with two adult children. Mr. Clark is a Life Member of the Council of Foreign Relations, Air Force Association, US Naval Institute, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
