Laurent was appointed Vice President, Operations, Pratt & Whitney Canada on January 8, 2024. In this role, he is responsible for Operations and Supply Chain: overseeing the implementation of the company’s Operations 2025 strategy and providing Operations leadership and direction to the Pratt & Whitney Canada organization. He has accountability for our sites in Canada, Poland, China, India, as well as our future Morocco site, and is a member of Maria Della Posta’s senior leadership team. He is focusing on implementing strategies that continue to invest in state-of-the-art capabilities, processes, people, and equipment to reduce waste and deliver a quality product on time and at cost to maximize our manufacturing capabilities and maintain our existing footprint.
Laurent joined Pratt & Whitney Canada from Siemens’ Mobility division, where he was President and CEO for France. His background includes over 25 years of experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain, global transformation, business development, sales and marketing and product development. He has worked in different countries and led local, regional, and global organizations, mainly at Bombardier. He is a seasoned leader with international experience and has a successful track record of managing large and complex programs, supply chains and industrial sites.
Laurent holds a degree from Lycée Saint Félix and a Diploma of Business Studies from Audencia Business School, both in Nantes, France, as well as an M1 Postgraduate Degree in Economy from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Outside the office, Laurent has been a Commander in the French Navy’s “citizen reserve”, serving from 2015 to 2021.
